First Eucharist – PARISH MASSES
Over the weekend of the 9th
and 10th September, a total of 63 Parish children will receive the Eucharist for the First
time. There will be two First Eucharist Masses over
this weekend- Saturday, 9th September at 6:00pm,
30 candidates and their families will be attending Mass.
On Sunday, 10th September at 9:30am, 33 candidates and
their families will be attending Mass. Due to the larger
numbers at the two First Eucharist Masses and reserved
seating for the candidates, sponsors and family members,
the partitions will be opened and extra seating organised.
As Parishioners of St Luke’s Church, we are called to bear
witness to these students as they receive the special gift of
Jesus through the Eucharist for the first time. These
children will become one with Jesus in a new way, joined
more deeply to the Body of Christ, His Church.
