THE FEAST OF THE ASSUMPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY
August 15th is the Solemnity of Our
Lady’s Assumption into heaven. This is
the only “Day of Obligation” in Australia
other than Christmas Day.
To celebrate this great feast, Mass
will be said at 9:00am on Monday
15th August.
The Sunday evening 6:00pm Mass
on 14th August also will be said to
celebrate the Solemnity of Our Lady.
